The Dental Board of California sent this email yesterday:

FEE INCREASE EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 19, 2017

On October 19, 2017, the fees assessed by the Dental Board of California (Board) will increase in accordance with California Code of Regulations, Title 16, Sections 1021 and 1022.  These fee increases are a result of a rulemaking action that was approved by the Office of Administrative Law and filed with the Secretary of State on August 24, 2017.

Applications for new licenses and permits received by the Board on and after October 19, 2017 must be submitted with the new fee. Applications received by the Board without the correct fee will not be processed.

Board issued licenses with an expiration date of January 31, 2018 and later are required to pay the new renewal fee. Failure to pay the new license renewal fee will result in licensure delinquency.
